Joyful Encounter: Jewish Man Puts on Tefillin for Missionary, Sparks Street Dancing
Description
Lubavitch businessman Levi Goldstein met a group of Missionaries in Crown Heights on Tuesday, and the meeting had unexpected results. Goldstein says he noticed the group handing out Missionary materials, so he approached them and explained to them that they are targeting the wrong neighborhood. "I told them, no disrespect to you, but you're in the wrong neighborhood. Many orthodox Jews live here, and they are just not interested in these materials," Goldstein told. Then Goldstein asked them if any of them were Jewish. "One man, named Julius, said, his mom is Jewish, but he did not think that he is really Jewish," Goldstein said. "I asked him if he knew what Tefillin are, and he said yes, he may have put them on once in his life." So Julius put on Tefillin on the sidewalk right there, and the group celebrated a little Bar Mitzvah, with a Lechaim and some cookies. They then promised they would he ad out to another neighborhood, Goldstein said. Join our channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQjnflCN_nFYVfb8Y3VV7TQ?sub_confirmation=1
